GARRISON DAM NEAR RIVERDALE, N.D. JUNE 26, 2011
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will increase Garrison Dam outflows to 145,000 CFS, which has prompted the NWS to issue a flood advisory for those areas below the dam. The Corps will return the outflow to 140,000 cfs July 1st, and although Bismarck-Mandan appears to have crested just above 19 feet - lower than expect - people in affected areas are urged to remain vigilant...
