John Noah of Fargo did the ceremonial first puck drop to kick off the 2009 IIHF World U18 Hockey Championship Thursday night at the Fargo Urban Plains Center. Noah played hockey with the UND Fighting Sioux from 1947-51 abd was a member of the 1952 U.S Olympic Hockey Team.
